In September 2025 in Portland, the trio of Wendy, Damaris and Samuel presented 7 Years of Seeing and Being Seen, a culmination of seven years of enquiry into presence, identity and collective perception. This new work deepens the project’s commitment to shared embodiment and collaborative authorship by weaving together the threads of solos, duets and trios developed since 2018.

Over the course of the season, the artists invited audiences into a space where seeing and being seen become mutual acts: interpreters and viewers alike engage in a dynamic exchange of visibility and reflection. Grounded in the somatic principles of the project’s lineage and responsive to the city of Portland’s vibrant cultural ecology, the performance offered three nights of refined, lived experience — contrasting with the single-evening form of 2023, and marking a significant evolution in scale, depth and format.

This latest chapter also generates new documentation and filmic material, further enriching the project’s archive and affirming its unfolding nature.
