First presented in 2019 at the BodyMind Centering Conference in Santa Barbara, the duet between Wendy and Damaris marked a turning point in the development of Standing Together. What began as a solo exploration by Wendy evolved into a shared practice, opening space for collaboration and exchange. This transition deepened with subsequent partnerships, including a collaborative adaptation of the solo in Brazil, further affirming the work’s commitment to collective creation.
